Class Theme: “Past-Present-Envisioning the Future”
The class accomplishments have been many and each struggle and sacrifice has been a rewarding experience.
As we take a backward glance into our past, remembering our school days together, were priceless. We were a unique and extraordinary class, participating in various activities: Spelling B contests, Homemakers of America, Officers for the Future Farmers of America (FFA), choral club, high school band, Varsity Football District A Champs 1967-1968 with Willie D West quarterbacking, All-District and All-State basketball- Earnest Jackson and Willie D West, All-State Track 440 yard dash Earnest Jackson, other track participants; Clarence Smith-880 yard dash, John Earl West-100 yard dash, low hurdle, Delores Graves-220 & 440 yard dash relay, Barbara Turner - “exciting Washington Bearettes”.
In appreciation to all the past and present Enge-Washington great administration and facility/ staff, for your dedication, encouragement and inspiration, showing us that “tough love”, teaching us to endure the challenges and struggles with prayer and faith in God, we can conquer all that we desire in life. We are grateful.

The Class of 1968 united in 2005 following several phone calls from a dedicated inspiring classmate “Edgar Lee Jackson”-organizer and past president. Edgar’s memory will forever be in our hearts.
