Homecoming Events Schedule

Friday, Sept. 26

9:45 a.m. — Community Homecoming Pep Rally at Goat Stadium.

5 p.m. — The Homecoming Masonic Lodge Dinner will take place at the High School Cafeteria. Plates will be $10 a piece and consist of pulled pork sandwiches, chips, and a drink.

6 p.m. — Pregame festivities start at Goat Stadium, including recognition of this year’s class of note, 1975, Mr. and Mrs. Homecoming, and the Homecoming Queen of the Class of ‘75.

7:30 p.m. — Kickoff for Homecoming 2025

Saturday, Sept. 27

7 to 9 a.m. — The Pancakes with Mr. Peewee scholarship fundraiser breakfast at the Groesbeck Middle School. Tickets are $9 in advance and $10 at the door which includes pancakes with bacon or sausage, eggs, juice, coffee, and water. All proceeds benefit the scholarship.

10:30 a.m. — The annual Homecoming Parade will take place downtown. The Ex-Students luncheon will take place at Enge Washington immediately following the parade. Meal tickets are $15. The menu includes enchiladas, rice, and beans, catered by El Pancho.

1 p.m. — 50-Year Diplomas will be presented at Enge Washington Intermediate.

1 p.m. — The Roderick Greer Legacy & Scholarship Memorial Fundraiser Basketball Tournament will take place at the GHS Gym.
