Next Parent University Shines Spotlight on Human Trafficking Prevention

In a concerted effort to tackle the critical issue of human trafficking, Unbound Now, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection of the vulnerable, is teaming up with Groesbeck ISD to present a crucial Parent University event this February.
Bronda Hayes, Director of Programs at Unbound Now, will lead an enlightening presentation on human trafficking, delving into the organization's mission to identify the exploited and advocate for survivors. The event aims to provide parents and teachers with a comprehensive understanding of the prevalence of trafficking in the area.
Scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 6:15 p.m., the presentation will take place in the H.O. Whitehurst Elementary Theatre. Attendees can anticipate an invaluable education on trafficking prevention, equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to protect their communities.
Unbound Now's commitment to fighting for the protection of the vulnerable aligns with Parent University's mission to empower parents and educators with vital information. This event underscores the importance of community engagement in addressing societal challenges, making it an opportunity that should not be missed.
Parents and teachers are encouraged to mark their calendars for this significant event, as it promises to be an eye-opening experience. Together, with the guidance of Unbound Now and the collaborative efforts of the community, we can work towards creating a safer environment for everyone.
