Veterans Day parade and ceremony planned

Groesbeck Veterans Day Parade - 10:45 AM 

The Groesbeck Veterans Day Parade will line up on Trinity at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11. The parade will travel down Ellis (Hwy. 14) to the Limestone County Courthouse. After the parade, all participants and spectators are encouraged to move to the north (flagpole) side of the courthouse at 11 a.m. for the ceremony, which will include resolutions from the state legislature, a 21-gun salute, and Taps.

Mexia Nursing Homes Veterans Day Parade - 1:00 PM

The parade will pass by Mexia LTC, Manor and Skilled Care to honor the veterans in the nursing home. Lineup will be at the Joe Friday’s parking lot at 1 p.m. 

Groesbeck Nursing Homes Veterans Day Parade - 2:30 PM

The parade will pass by the Groesbeck nursing homes. Lineup will be at 2:30pm at the Groesbeck Sports Complex.
