The temporary waiver of certain vehicle title and registration requirements, announced by Gov. Greg Abbott on March 16, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will end at 11:59 p.m. on April 14, with no grace period. The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) reminds Texans to complete any overdue transactions now.
Golf enthusiasts will have the opportunity in April not only to enjoy their favorite game but also to help in a worthy cause: raising money for an arena cover at Cross Creek Meadows, an organization that serves veterans, first responders, children with disabilities and others interested in equine-assisted activities and therapies.

The front parking lot at Groesbeck High School will have limited parking availability (approximately 350 vehicles). No handicap parking will be available at GHS. Handicap parking will be available at Groesbeck Middle School. The City of Groesbeck will be closing McClintic Drive to traffic.
Due to the funeral service for Trooper Walker being held at Goat Stadium on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, all GISD campuses will be closed on April 7, 2021.
