The Groesbeck Lions Club has had a first in its 98 year history with the formation of a branch club. The new branch will be known as the Groesbeck “We the People” Branch Club. The branch club’s focus will be on serving veterans in our area and will meet in the evenings.
A man broke into a Groesbeck-area home about 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, and proceeded to take a bath. The homeowners were at home and called 911 to report the break-in and get help.

County Judge Richard Duncan and commissioners did not see eye-to-eye on the best approach for paying down the revenue bonds for the Limestone County Law Enforcement Center during the Limestone County Commissioners Court meeting on Tuesday, March 9. Commissioners felt it would be best to consult with county attorney Herb Bristow before taking further action.
