This is Holy Week. Holy Week lies between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. Palm Sunday, the day Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem, began the last week of His life. Jesus’ last week was full of up and downs. His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, on Palm Sunday, was a high point. Perhaps the low point of His life came at His mock trial and crucifixion. Easter Sunday, when He arose triumphant from the grave was definitely a high. Have you noticed how human life parallels the last week of Jesus? Human life begins with the joy of birth, experiences the failures, difficulties and victories of living, and can end in a glorious resurrection with Jesus.
