Road projects announced by TxDOT
Waco – The Texas Department of Transportation (Waco District) began a construction project to increase safety along FM 3371, east of Groesbeck, in Limestone County, April 24, 2017.
The project will build safety end-treatments, for culvert-ends at cross drainage locations under the roadway and at adjoining private driveways as well as adding guard rail on some larger culverts and bridges along FM 3371 from FM 937 to SH 164.
The nine-mile project is being undertaken by West Texas Rebar Placers, Inc., Dallas, at a cost of just over $650,000. It is scheduled for completion in mid-summer of this year, weather permitting.
Signage warning of road work and temporary lane closures will be posted and motorists can expect temporary lane closures, flaggers and delays within the project area.
TxDOT cautions motorists to be alert for construction personnel and equipment in the work areas.
