Jesus left His followers some remarkable “PRAYER” promises. He said, “I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, my Farther is heaven will do it for you.” (Matt. 18:19) Again he said, “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.” (John 15:8) Hard to believe! Never seen it happen! Maybe the conditions He laid down have not been met.
In Duluth, Minnesota, a Jew was run over in the iron mines. They took him to a Catholic hospital where an Episcopal doctor cut off his leg. A Presbyterian woman felt sorry for the man and wrote to the editor of a Congregational paper in Chicago. She asked him to advertise for some to donate a wooden leg.
