Local Brothers Representing Limestone County in Texas High School Rodeo Association
Two local brothers are representing Limestone County in the Texas High School Rodeo, Association, Region X this season. Senior Ty Baldwin and his younger brother Trace Baldwin, who is a freshman this year are Team Roping together. This is the one and only year that the two brothers will are able to rope with each other in High School Rodeo due to Ty graduating this coming spring.
The brothers are no strangers to the rodeo scene, as both started the sport of rodeo around the age of five. Beginning in the Texas Youth Ranch Rodeo Association, then expanding to youth rodeo associations such as Central Texas Youth Rodeo Association and Winners Youth Rodeo Association. This past spring, they became members of the Original Team Roping Association which are set to be held here in Groesbeck this next year. They have also been members of the United States Team Roping Association for many years. They both enjoy local jackpot team ropings and roping with friends and family at home. Most evenings and weekends are spent in the practice pen, or on the road to the next rodeo or roping.
