• Former employees of the Thornton branch of Farmer State Bank pass the keys to the building to the City of Thornton employees on Friday, December 1, which the city plans to turn into City Hall.   • Many Thornton citizens and people from the surrounding area came to the ribbon-cutting /building give away and ate hamburgers and hotdogs provided. The offices once filled with bankers will now host various city officials including the Police Department, Municipal Court, etc.
