12:10 p.m. Sgt. Bell flagged down by citizen in 200 block North Leon in reference to a dog being shot in Thornton. Sgt. Bell provided emergency clinic information and referred to other agency for investigation.

12:42 p.m. Sgt. Bell to 300 block West State for ATM alarm. No offense.

4:22 p.m. Sgt. Bell to 600 block Parkside Drive for 911 call regarding missing children. Resident believed granddaughters were missing. Caller was determined to be suffering from dementia. No offense.

No further calls for service this day.

Tuesday, January 2, 2018

12:00 p.m. Sgt. Bell to 100 block Meadow Lane for continuous fire alarm. Caller stated fire alarms kept activating in residence. Determined to be due to furnace.

1:10 p.m. Sgt. Bell to 1000 block West Yeagua for theft complaint. Caller reported stolen medication.

8:10 p.m. Officer Alvarado to 500 block East Yeagua for criminal trespass notice request. Manager requested two individuals be served with criminal trespass notice from business.

No further calls for service this day.

12:20 a.m. Officer Alvarado to 400 block North Leon for theft complaint. Caller reported stolen medication.

2:20 a.m. Officer Alvarado to 600 block North Ellis for found property. Caller found wallet left in business. Returned to owner.

9:30 a.m. Officer Hobbs to 1200 block East Yeagua for medical assist. Male found lying on side of roadway. Determined to be medical issue and referred to EMS.

2:30 p.m. Officer Hobbs to 600 block McClintic for warrant attempt. One person arrested and placed in county jail.
