11:30 a.m. Sgt. Bell to 500 block North Ellis for theft complaint. Caller stated someone had been stealing her newspaper each morning.
1:30 p.m. Officer Cox to police department for burglary complaint. Complainant reported burglary at his residence. Complainant decided not to pursue case citing friendship with potential suspect. Case closed.
7:45 p.m. Officer Alvarado to 300 block South Ellis for welfare concern. Caller reported hotel guest receiving threatening text messages. Investigation conducted. No offense.
10:30 p.m. Officer Alvarado and Officer Martin to 600 block West State for fire department assistance. Traffic control conducted while fire department worked residential fire.

8:40 a.m. Sgt. Bell to 900 block East Navasota for juvenile complaint. Mother reported child would not go to school. Parental issue. No offense.
10:13 a.m. Sgt. Bell to 500 block South Ellis to serve criminal trespass notice. Notice served.
11:21 p.m. Officer Martin to 400 block Lincoln for report of identity theft. Complainant reported suspect used identifying information in Virginia to obtain services.

7:00 a.m. Officer Hobbs to 800 block East Yeagua for minor vehicle crash. Vehicle struck gas pump in parking lot.
1:35 p.m. Officer Hobbs and Chief Henson to 800 block South Ellis for disruptive student.
6:35 p.m. Officer Pantalici to State Highway 14 North for reckless driver complaint. Unable to locate vehicle.
6:50 p.m. Officer Pantalici to 800 block West State Street for suspicious vehicle complaint. Vehicle located. No offense.
7:15 p.m. Officer Pantalici to State Highway 164 West for reckless driver complaint. Vehicle located. Driving behavior due to driver fatigue.
10:00 p.m. Officer Pantalici to 300 block South Ellis for verbal dispute. Two males were arguing over garbage at their hotel. Resolved on scene.
11:35 p.m. Officer Pantalici to Elwood Enge Drive for loose livestock. One horse located and secured.
