7:52 a.m. Officer Cardenas to 300 block South Dallas for a reported solicitor. Complainant reported a known person going door-to-door soliciting work. Complainant requested criminal trespass notice be issued. Reported person located and notice executed.

6:40 p.m. Cpl. Hobbs to 200 block Elwood Enge for a reported animal complaint. Complainant reported dog at-large in the neighborhood. Dog recovered and returned to the owner.

8:20 p.m. Cpl. Hobbs to 600 block North Ellis for a reported business alarm. Determined to be an accidental trigger by the employee. No offense.

11:50 p.m. Cpl. Hobbs to 400 block East Jacinto for a reported suspicious vehicle. Complainant reported an unfamiliar vehicle in the neighborhood. Unable to locate the reported person.

April 6, 2021

12:50 p.m. Sgt. Bell to 1000 block West Colorado for reported shots fired. Complainant reported hearing gunshot in the area. Determined to be blown transformer.

6:45 pm. Officer Pantalici to call complainant for reported harassment. Complainant reported harassment by former significant other. Resolved on scene.

10:00 p.m. Officer Pantalici to 1300 Frost for reported open door. Residence checked and found to be secure. No offense.

April 7, 2021

4:00 a.m. Officer Pantalici to SH 164 West for a reported reckless driver. Vehicle located and driver warned.

5:10 a.m. Officer Pantalici to 100 block North Railroad for a reported business alarm. Determined to be false alarm.

1:25 p.m. Officer Cardenas to 100 block Elm for a reported residential alarm. Determined to be accidental trigger by the homeowner. No offense.

April 8, 2021

6:13 a.m. Officer Cardenas to 300 block South Ellis for a reported disturbance. Determined to be verbal only. Resolved on scene.

12:30 p.m. Officer Cardenas to 700 block East Navasota for reported burglary of a building. Complainant reported lawn equipment stolen from rented storage unit. Investigation initiated.

6:15 p.m. Officer Martin to 600 block North Ellis for a reported business alarm. Determined to be an accidental trigger by an employee.

April 9, 2021

1:05 a.m. Cpl. Hobbs to 100 block South Archer for a reported welfare concern. Complainant reported occupants sleeping in a vehicle in front of the residence. Occupants checked and one male determined to have outstanding arrest warrants. Male arrested and placed in county jail.

6:57 p.m. Officer Martin to 200 block North Ellis for requested criminal trespass notice. Complainant requested criminal trespass notice be served to two unidentified customers who left prior to police arrival. Unable to locate reported people.

April 10, 2021

9:30 a.m. Sgt. Bell to SH 14 North for a reported disturbance. Disturbance not located within city and information forwarded to Mexia Police Department. Disturbance located within that city and resolved.

10:10 a.m. Sgt. Bell to 200 block North Ellis for a reported disturbance. Complainant reported male making an obscene gesture. Reported male located and warned.

6:15 p.m. Officer Pantalici to call complainant for a reported lost dog. Complainant reported dog missing from the residence. Requested officer contact if dog was located.

April 11, 2021

1:45 a.m. Officer Pantalici to 1200 block Donna for a reported disturbance. Determined to be verbal only. Resolved on scene.

2:50 a.m. Officer Pantalici to the intersection of Trinity and Preston for reported loud music. The call was unfounded.

10:40 a.m. Sgt. Bell to the sports complex for reported found property. Complainant reported finding key to building on the ground. Key recovered and returned to the appropriate party.

10:55 a.m. Sgt. Bell to 800 block West State for a reported dog bite. The complainant reported being bitten by dog. Owner and dog located. Owner cited for violation.

1:10 p.m. Sgt. Bell to 1200 block East Yeagua for a reported civil issue. Complainant requested officer presence during funeral service for a potential issue with a family member.

2:05 p.m. Sgt. Bell to 100 block East Navasota for a reported business alarm. Determined to be a false alarm.

7:40 p.m. Officer Pantalici to 200 block East Angeline for reported loud music. Source located and owner instructed to turn in down. Owner complied.
