ANNIE MARIE ARDRY

Annie Marie Ardry of Lake Limestone passed on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 12, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 13, in Hill Cemetery (LCR 892) with Shane Easterling officiating.

Annie was born in Groesbeck on July 12, 1945, to RT and Florence Gressett. She later married John Ardry and enjoyed crafting, cross stitching and loved spending time with her family. John and Annie were members of Assembly of God churches in both Abilene and Groesbeck. Annie’s dream in life was to be a loving wife and mother and has passionately fulfilled that dream.

Annie is preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Neal Warden and Thomas Warden.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John Ardry of Lake Limestone; children, Paul and Claudia Warden and Annette and Mike Brown; numerous grandchildren as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family she loved dearly.
