Debbie Sue Nash

Debbie Sue Nash was born to Bobby Lee Jacobs and Patsy Jo Jacobs on September 2, 1955, in Corsicana. Debbie attended Oakwood ISD until her junior year when the family moved to Coolidge. Debbie graduated a year early in 1972 but still crossed the stage with the class of 1973.

Debbie had a few different professions which included, caregiver, cobar owner, operator for the phone company, hair stylist, employee at Double J Feed, owned a cafe as well as Debbie’s One Stop.

Debbie met Adam Lenamond in 1972 and they remained good friends for 50 years. Debbie married Bradley Bruckner Sr. on October 22, 1977. Together they had one son, Bradley Bruckner II. Debbie then married Atmar Lynn Nash on April 2, 1984. They also had one son together, Jeffrey Nash. Debbie and Lynn were married at the time of his passing on September 28, 2019.

Debbie enjoyed helping everyone in the community and helped anywhere she was needed. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and loved ones. She had many great friends and one that stands out is her friend, Bill Ward. Debbie and Bill remained friends for over 50 years. As you can see, once you made friends with Debbie it was easy to remain friends, which is something she took pride in.

Debbie is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Lee Jacobs, her husband Atmar Lynn Nash, her brother Reagan Dean Jacobs, her brother-in-law Gary Davis, brother-in-law Mickey Powell, brother-in-law Ray Robertson; two grandsons, Colton Bradley Bruckner, and Nolan Bradley Bruckner.

Debbie is survived by her mother Patsy Jo Jacobs, her sister Annette Davis, her brother Randall and his wife Christi Jacobs, her sisterin laws Delora Robertson and Jackie Powell, her son Bradley Bruckner and wife Tonia, her son Jeffrey Nash; grandsons Robert Jacob Bruckner, Hunter Ray Nash and Jacob Wells and wife Memory, all of Coolidge. Debbie is also survived by her granddaughters Zoey Nichole Nash and Avrey Renee Nash of Agua Dulce, Texas; great grandson Nolan Michael Wells of Coolidge. Debbie also has many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 29 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home in Mexia.

Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, April 30 at the First United Methodist Church in Coolidge. Interment will follow in the Coolidge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew Jacobs, Joseph Dale, Jacob Wells, Robert Jacob Bruckner, Hunter Ray Nash, and Jon Ward. Honorary pallbearers will be Zoey Nash, Avrey Nash, and Nolan Wells.
