Dianna Gail (McIntyre) Fox

Dianna Gail (McIntyre) Fox, of Kosse, passed away at Hillcrest Hospital on Monday, January 25, 2021, at age 72.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Groesbeck Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Kosse City Cemetery, with Pastor Paul Moore officiating.

Gail was born December 16, 1948 in Marlin to John Daniel McIntyre and Stella Mae (Hollingsworth) McIntyre. She graduated from Marlin High School in the Class of 1967.

Gail lived and worked many years in the Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston areas. She also had worked a number of years at the Limestone County Clerk’s office in Groesbeck, and then later retired from the State of Texas, after working for TDCJ in Huntsville. She moved back to Kosse about five years ago.

Gail was a member of the Catholic Church when she was young and raised her children in the Catholic faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Michael Wells; sister, Ginger McIntyre; brother J. D. McIntyre, Jr.; brother-in-law, Dale Funderburk; and sister Sue Wells.

She is survived by her children: son, J.D. Fox of Fort Worth; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Diana Fox of Thornton; son, Jarrod Fox of Corsicana; and daughter and son-in-law, Lacey and Dennis Morrison of Groesbeck. She has nine grandchildren: Derek and wife Katelynn Fox of Arlington; Jacob Fox of Groesbeck; Kaleb Fox of Groesbeck; Zoie Fox of Thornton; Ashley Fox of Corsicana; Josh Fox of Mexia; Meghan Fox of Mexia; Gavin Carpenter of Groesbeck; and Macie Lucas of Groesbeck; and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Nan and Jim “Buddy” Middleton of Houston; sister, Nancy Funderburk of Kosse; sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Leonard Slafka of Bremond; sister-in-law, Sherry McIntyre of Houston; and many nieces and nephews.
