Grayson Dean Alfaro

Grayson Dean Alfaro passed away peacefully in his loving mother’s arms on January 27, 2019.   Grayson was born on January 8, 2019.   In his two short weeks of life, Grayson touched many hearts and was known in NICU as the “fiesty one.” He was deeply loved by family and friends, and most of all, by his mother and big sister.A Rosary was recited Monday, February 4, 2019, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Dwight Mahoney of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mexia.   The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel by Deacon Mahoney.   Burial followed at Big Hill Cemetery.Pallbearers were Adam Alfaro, Lupe Alfaro and Prince Alfaro.   Ashley Alfaro and Fernando Alfaro were ushers.  Honorary pallbearers were Zoelan Alfaro, Adrian Aflaro, and Anthony Alfaro. Grayson Dean is survived by his mother, Hollie Alfaro of Mart; sister, Annabella Ruger of Mart; uncles and aunts, Adam Alfaro, Charlie Alfaro, Robert Alfaro, Daina Alfaro, Angelo Alfaro, and Margaret Alfaro, all of Mart; and grandparents, Arturo and Martha Alfaro of Mart and great-grandparents, Guadalupe Alfaro and Isabel Alfaro of Groesbeck.”Listen for my footfall in your heart.  I am not gone but merely walk within you.” Messages of condolence may be left on the guestbook at www.groesbeckfuneralhome.com
