JENNIFER SUE HARRISON

Jennifer Sue Harrison, age 76, of Groesbeck, Texas, passed away on March 5, 2026, after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with Michael Dean Yancey officiating. Burial followed at the Old Union Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wyatt Crum, Harrison Crum, Aaron Patterson, Cash Waller, Cameron Harrison, Kannon Harrison, Cavin Harrison, and Brandon Harrison.

Sue was born on Aug. 4, 1949, to Robert and Gaye Tipton in Fort Hood, Texas. Sue grew up in Lott, Texas and graduated from Lott High School. She went on to marry Billy Jack Harrison on April 20, 1967. Sue had a passion for caretaking, and owned and operated The Cabbage Patch Daycare in Groesbeck for many years.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Billy Jack Harrison; sister, Bobbie June Scott; and parents.

Sue is survived by her beloved cat Bandit; two brothers, Cecil Tipton of Wisconsin and Jimmy Tipton of Indiana and one sister, Christine Schmit of Austin; as well as one bonus son, Gary Hogan and partner Chrstine of Colorado, with children, Gage Hogan and Brittany Coker and two great grandchildren; a son Billy Harrison and wife Kathleen of China Spring, with children, Shawn Patterson and great grandchild, Aaron & Kelsey Patterson, Cameron & Caitlyn Harrison, Cavin Harrison and Kannon Harrison; son Bobby Harrison of Waco and children Brandon Harrison, with two great grandchildren and Kristen Lassetter and one great grandchild; daughter Cindy Pladsen and husband Mike of Goliad and children, Jarrett Wigley, Hallie & Chester Humbert, Wyatt & Blayne Crum and great grandchild, Harrison & Ashlynn Crum and four great grandchildren, Stormy & Cash Waller and two great grandchildren and Bree’Anna Pladsen; and son Michael Harrison and wife CoryAnn with children, Emily & RJ Tucker with three great grandchildren, Andi Bustos and Ryan Harrison; plus many bonus grandkids and great grandkids.
