Jimmy Lee (Sonny) Cook

Jimmy Lee (Sonny) Cook, 82, passed away on October 12, 2021, at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

He attended grade school and high school in Groesbeck, Tx. He graduated from high school in 1958.

He attended Lone Star Baptist Church in his younger years. He has lived in a very nice condo in Cedar Hill, Texas since 2003. He is survived by 3 daughters, Brenda Anthony (Alonso), Karen Curtis, and Jennifer Lee Criss, one granddaughter Robin Williams, one sister, Linda Durnham (Monsoon), and a special aunt, Mrs. Elece Cook Tucker.

He was preceded in death by a son, Marcus and wife Thelma, and a host of friends and other relatives. He was a hard worker. He worked for several companies over the years. He worked for one company, Yellow Transportation, for over 32 years. He will be missed. May God be with him and may God bless his soul.
