Jo Cooke, 97 of Kosse, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Jo Cooke was born on October 10, 1922, to Rufus and Mary (Selby) Lenington in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was a longtime resident of Kosse. Jo was a member of numerous clubs in Houston, Texas. She was a Lancer. Jo enjoyed ballroom dancing and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by parents, son-in-law’s, Donald Lukasik and James McCaleb
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Sharon Lukasik of Porter, Peggy McCaleb of Kosse, 5 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Marlin, Texas.
