NOAH LEE DAVIDSON
Graveside memorial services for Noah Lee Davidson will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 1 p. m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague in the Davidson Family Plot.
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Noah Lee Davidson, 78 of Waco, on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025.
Noah was born on Aug. 12, 1947, in Teague. He was the second of five siblings adopted by Pete and Sybil Davidson in the 1950’s.
Noah attended school and played football for the Teague Lions and graduated with the class of 1965. He joined the U. S. Army after graduation and served two tours ( six years) in Vietnam, Korea, and stateside. After his honorable discharge from Fort Carson, Colorado, Noah began working for General Dynamics in Grand Prairie, moving on to Motorola in the late 1980’s, and eventually started his own computer repair business. He married Dorothy, a mother with three children, and remained together for twenty years. Though he had no children of his own, Noah loved and entertained children, making him a favorite uncle. Noah moved to Lake Limestone in 2005 leading a quiet, secluded independent life by the lake until dementia crept in.
Noah chose a nursing facility in Waco to be closer to little brother, Jimmy, He was well liked and a delight to staffers as he never lost his sense of humor in the last year before he was mercifully and swiftly taken from this world by an aortic aneurysm.
He leaves behind two brothers, Jerry Davidson of Teague and Jimmy Davidson of Waco; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families who remember him fondly.
Noah was preceded in death by his parents, Pete & Sybil Davidson; his wife Dorothy; two brothers, Royce and “Rusty”; and one sister Frances Donette.
