John Thomas Ahlfinger, 84, passed away on December 30, 2021 in Palestine, TX. He was born January 20, 1937 in Box Church, Tx to Paul “Frank” Ahlfinger and Mary Jane Williams Ahlfinger. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and served with the National Guard.

Mildred Louise Beard, 72 of Groesbeck, passed away on December 20, 2021, at Groesbeck LTC. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Mexia Family Church, with Pastor Thomas Rasey officiating. Interment will follow at Lost Prairie Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lee Cox, Daniel Cox, Josh Cox, Matt McGilvray, Jerrod O”Neal, Bosten Cox, and Kuper Cox will serve as pallbearers.
