Numbers were down again this week but the food keeps coming for which we are so thankful for. We know there’s Seniors out there who could use a free meal once a week and hopefully we will be able to back in full swing of being able to join each other and sit down and eat together.
Paul, writing to the Ephesians and describing what they were like before they believed in Jesus as Savior and Lord said, “Remember at that time you were separated form Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.” (Eph. 2:12) O, my dear friends, what a frightening thought to be without “hope and without God”. However, that is the awful truth facing people who have never believed in Jesus as Savior and Lord.
Although our Seniors aren’t getting to meet at the centers, we are trying to keep in contact with them by phone. We are still delivering to our homebound, averaging 65 per day, some days more.
