The Little River Academy Bumblebees took both ends of a Thursday-Saturday doubleheader over the Groesbeck Lady Goats to end a very good season for Coach Alan Weihausen’s team in the bidistrict round of the playoffs at Mumford last week.
The Groesbeck Lady Goats’ softball season ended with the team displaying the offensive prowess that had become a hallmark throughout the campaign.
