Amanda McBroom in Concert

Trinity Star Arts Council and The City of Fairfield present one of the greatest night club performers of all time, Amanda McBroom and her accompanist, Michele Brourman, this weekend in concert at Depot X Event Center in Fairfield.

 

Ms. McBroom wrote the title song for the film THE ROSE, starring Bette Midler, and won a Golden Globe for Best Original Song for a Motion Picture in 1980.

 

In addition to McBroom’s singing/songwriting career, her acting career includes: playing Captain Phillipa Louvois in the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode in 1989, a recurring role as police office Sandi Welles on Hawaii Five -O, episodes of Gunsmoke, Cover Up, Starchy & Hutch, Executive Suite, Charlie’s Angels, Taxi, Hart to Hart, Mash, Remington Steele, Magnum P.I. and she starred in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

 

THE ROSE: An Evening with Amanda McBroom, Feb 10th Depot X 140 E. HWY 84 Fairfield. Doors open 6:15 pm, concert begins at 7:15 pm with a Meet the Artist Reception following the event.
