Classic Cars to make trek to Groesbeck for Lions 20th Car Show
Lions Club members and car enthusiasts alike are excited for the 20th Annual Lions Club Classic Car Show set for Saturday, hoping for pleasant weather and familiar faces at the show. Butch Luce has been a Lion about 20 years and Co-Chair of this event for 10; though he isn’t a car restorer, he enjoys the show every year.
“It brings back memories,” Luce said of the car show. “My first car was a ‘54 Chevrolet that I bought when it was 11 years old, and some years there will be some out there. I enjoy looking at them, like most people.”
Lions Club President Tom Levi noted that, like any car show, attendance is largely contingent on the weather.
