FSB Travelers enjoyed stage production of White Christmas

Watching Irving Berlin’s movie White Christmas has been a Christmas season tradition for many years. Members and friends of FSB Travelers enjoyed this magical story as they watched the stage production of White Christmas.

The story line follows two buddies from World War II who teamed up to become a popular entertainment duo. They were surprised to learn that their previous leader during the war was having a hard time as the owner of a ski lodge and resort in Vermont. Thanks to their giving spirit and their determination to help the man who had done so much for them, the general was able to finally move on and accept his position as inn keeper.

The part of Bob Wallace was played by Sean Montgomery, and the part of Phil Davis was played by Jeremy Benton. Their love interests were the talented Kerry Conte playing the part of Betty Haynes and Kelly Sheehan playing the part of Judy Haynes. General Henry Waverly was played by Conrad John Schuck. A special hit on stage was Bella Yantis, a young lady making her national tour debut. Bella played the part of Susan Waverly, the general’s granddaughter.

The entire cast was filled with talented men and women. There were many song and dance numbers included in the musical. The tap dancing talent displayed in this show was absolutely wonderful.

Some of Berlin’s hits included were Sisters, Blue Skies, How Deep is the Ocean, Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep, and of course the title song White Christmas.

The travelers enjoyed a nice lunch buffet at the Reata Restaurant in Sundance Square before continuing to the Bass Hall in Ft. Worth.
