Groesbeck Homecoming

All you need to know about the weekend
“Welcome Home All Exes” - In the words of Tom Hawkins

Homecoming week is upon us and a full two days of homecoming festivities are planned. The Groesbeck Ex-Students give annual honor awards each year to a few individuals, as well as choose honorees for the parade floats, a parade marshal, host a lunch, and assist in 50-year diploma presentations and pre-game ceremonies.

This year’s honor float has been chosen as ‘all current and past FFA members and their staff’, they will have their own float in the parade and will be honored at the pregame ceremonies.

Each year the Ex-Students invite the G.H.S school classes to pick a parade theme and this year they chose ‘Board Games’. Each G.H.S. class will have their own float decorated with that theme in the parade.
