Groesbeck Mayor Ray O'Docharty issued a Declaration of Local State of Disaster for the City of Groesbeck this morning in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic. While there are no confirmed cases in Limestone County, Mayor O'Docharty issued the declaration acknowledging the public health emergency and indicating the city's commitment to abiding by the directives and executive orders of the Governor as we work to prevent the spread of this disease. There are no new restrictions put in place at this time. It above mentioned merely declares the disaster and indicates the city will abide by the directives and executive orders of the Governor.
