Main Street in Mexia on July 15-16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. When the museum was gifted the Bessling-Cannon-Phillips Home by the Jack and Mary Phillips Charitable Trust (Comerica Bank, Trustee), it also received the contents of the home, most of which will be for sale during the estate sale. Items will be available in the historic home itself and in the garage with all proceeds from the sale going to the museum’s operating fund. Items for sale will include antiques, furniture, household items, bookcases, tools, some very unique items, and lots of books.
