New year to bring new faces to court

Limestone County Commissioners John McCarver and Jerry Allen participated in the final court meeting of their terms on Tuesday, December 22, through a conference call due to COVID concerns. Other county leaders were also missing from the table, as County Clerk Kerrie Cobb phoned in and County Judge Richard Duncan, who shared that he had tested positive for COVID on Facebook on December 9, was not present for the meeting or available for the conference call. Precinct 4 Commissioner Bobby Forrest led the meeting in his place, and made sure to offer thanks on behalf of the county to the men leaving the court.
