Texas legislators wrapped up the 89th session last week, passing more than 1,200 bills — 800 of which were sent to Gov. Greg Abbott in the last 10 days of the session, The Dallas Morning News reported.
The following indictments were handed down May 21, by a Limestone County Grand Jury. Those listed are not guilty unless and until a court finds otherwise. An indictment means there is enough evidence to warrant a trial.
The countdown is on for one of the area’s favorite summer traditions – the 97th Kosse Homecoming Weekend, kicking off Friday, June 13 and continuing through Saturday, June 14.
