Kosse will be the place to be on October 7th for the 43rd annual bazaar of the Kosse Methodist Church. Everyone is invited to bring their family and friends and come early to browse through the white elephant sale, do some early Christmas shopping at the craft store and silent auction, and find something wonderful at the country store and bake sale. Don’t forget to buy your raffle tickets for the many great items on the raffle this year. Raffle tickets are available for any church member or on the day of the bazaar and you don’t have to be present to win. Stay for a delicious lunch of BBQ ribs and sausage with all the trimmings or maybe you’d prefer a sandwich. No matter what you choose, it will all be fantastic. The live auction will start at 1 p.m. with many unusual and beautiful items up for auction. It will be a great day so hope to see you all there for a day of fun, food, and most importantlyfellowship.
Homecoming week is upon us and a full two days of homecoming festivities are planned. The Groesbeck Ex-Students give annual honor awards each year to a few individuals, as well as choose honorees for the parade floats, a parade marshal, host a lunch, and assist in 50-year diploma presentations and pre-game ceremonies.
The Groesbeck volleyball team opened its District 20-3A campaign on a positive note with a three-set sweep of Elkhart.
