Richland Chambers Reservoir near Corsicana has a reputation for being a pretty tough bass lake. It’s not that the 41,000acre reservoir is lacking for quality fish, but the way it lays out the lunkers can be challenging to pattern at times.

During the Public Comment portion of the meeting, Precinct 4 Commissioner Bobby Forest addressed the court and attendees on the topic of property valuations, which are handled by the County Appraisal District.

“I want to stand here as a citizen, not as a commissioner, and make sure that the general public understands, not being critical of the Limestone County Appraisal District because they have a lot of rules they have to follow, but the Appraisal District is not the county; it has nothing to do with this commission, Mexia ISD, the City of Groesbeck, anybody.
