The Groesbeck Auction & Livestock Company held its weekly livestock auction sale on Thursday, August 10. The sale is held each Thursday beginning at 12 noon. There were 87 sellers and 48 buyers. There were 638 head sold. The market report from last week’s sale is given below:

 

SLAUGHTER COWS & BULLS:

Thin Cows: $59-$65

Bulls Yield 1 & 2: $87-$93

Bulls Yield 3 & 4: $82-$86

STOCKER COWS:

Older Plain Bred Cows:  $800-$1100

Good Choice Pairs:  $1300-$1800

Common Medium Pairs:  $1100-$1600

BUFFALO LIVESTOCK & MARKETING REPORT

The Buffalo Livestock Auction held its weekly livestock auction on Saturday, August 12. The sale is held every Saturday. Total head sold were 1717, total head last sale was 1710. There were 233 sellers and 69 buyers.
