Swine Project “Feeding and Fitting” Clinic

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Limestone County is sponsoring a Swine Project “Feeding and Fitting” Clinic at the County Courthouse Meeting Room in Groesbeck in Room G-13 (across the hall from the extension office) on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. **We will meet at courthouse first and do a quick classroom portion and then go to the Groesbeck Ag Barn and do some showmanship demonstrations and presentations. **

The clinic will cover topics of feeding/nutrition, health, management, exercise, clipping and fitting, show date preparation, and showmanship. There is no charge for this clinic and all 4-H and FFA youth and families are encouraged to attend. Do not bring your animals. The guest speakers of this educational seminar will be David Groschke, County Extension Agent; Chase Sligh, owner of Red Barn Genetics; and Kyndal Sligh, Texas 4-H Livestock Ambassador. This will be an excellent opportunity to set this year’s swine projects up for success and ask any questions to help your animals maximize their potential. The showmanship demonstration will be very informative and impressive.

For more information, call the Limestone County Extension office at 254-729-5314. Also, please call and let us know you are coming so we will have enough copies of information provided.

Individuals with disabilities requiring an auxiliary aid or special accommodations in order to participate in this program are asked to contact the Limestone County Extension Office at (254) 729-5314 to determine how reasonable accommodations may be met.
