Kosse Homecoming Parade is big success
Last Friday and Saturday was homecoming in Kosse. The homecoming included many events.
One of the biggest events was the Kosse Homecoming Parade on Saturday morning. The parade was very large with some 35 to 40 or more entries. Kelley Young was the parade announcer.
The parade was led by Prime Time Express.
The parade winners were as follows:
Best Overall, Rising Star Ranch; Best Pulled Trailer, Kosse Heritage Society; Most Original, Whitlow Graham Family; Best Group Presentation, Rising Star Ranch; Most Awesome Business Entry, Mexia Peer Support; Best Vintage Vehicle, Jack Milstead ‘31 Ford; Most Decorated Utility Ride, Shirley Hill; Best Decorated Bicycle, Cade Duncan; Best Lil’ Cowpoke (Boy), Kosse 4-H Kids; Best Lil’ Cowpoke (Girl), Aubrey Adair; Best Ole Cowpoke, Buddy Cobb; Fanciest Cowgirls, Prime Time Express; Most Western Horse Drawn Wagon, Michael and Ann Winstead of Marquez.
Parade judges were Beverly Hoffpauir, Bobby Hobby, and Josh Taylor.
