Trash collection issues looked at
According to the City of Kosse website, trash collection issues were addressed recently, as mayor Eno met with representatives from Progressive Waste on April 20, due to recent problems with trash collection, including missing residences on the route, unpredictable collection times and running at night.
In an effort to solve the issues, Kosse will be assigned a new supervisor and the collection day will be changed from Tuesday to Thursday, beginning May 4.
The City of Kosse has been assured that the town will have consistent service and trash will be collected citywide by 7 p.m. In addition, Progressive Waste will be providing the city with a free dumpster one weekend a month for bulk waste and property cleanups.
