The big news in Texas for the past several days has been Hurricane Harvey and its path of destruction.
Hurricane Harvey hit the Texas coast near Rockport late Friday night and has brought much devastation up and down the Texas coast as well numerous inland areas. Rain from Harvey is expected to continue for much of the rest of this week.
Groesbeck and the Central Texas area has received a good deal of rain. However, there appears to be no flooding danger in the Groesbeck area. The very heavy rains has caused flooding in the Houston area as well as other areas on the coast as well as some inland areas.
Our prayers and thoughts are with those across the Texas coast as they seek to recover from the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey.
