What Is Important To You?
What is the most important thing in your life? Your car, your house, your family or maybe you would say your church? If you said your church, then why do you go there? To reinforce your standing in the community either socially or politically? Or, maybe you go for the fellowship you encounter in Sunday School or Bible study class? Some go because their family tradition expects them to be there. Then there are some that actually go for praise and or worship. But, the number of these people are sadly becoming a minority.
Now, ask yourself this, why did God make you? The answer is: “God made you to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him in this world and to be happy with Him forever in the next”. This should be what is the most important thing in your life. Jesus told us: “Not everyone who says to me ‘Lord, Lord’, will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven (Matt 7:21)”.
