Groesbeck Lions Club to sponsor Clean-up Day
With the first annual Groesbeck Heritage Festival coming up on May 29, 30, and 31, the Groesbeck Lions voted at its meeting last week to sponsor a town-wide Groesbeck Clean-up Day on Saturday, May 16.

Just a brief reminder that the first annual Groesbeck Heritage Festival will be coming up on May 29, 30, 31!
A country music concert benefiting local seniors and nonprofit organizations that assist them will be held at VFW Post 4694, located at 317 Martin Luther in Mexia. The event will take place Saturday, March 14, with doors to open at 6 and continue through 10 p.m.
As if losing their parents wasn’t enough to get through, four Limestone County children have continued to endure hardships over the last year.
Backpacks stuffed with breakfast items await students at Groesbeck ISD. As part of a school program, students at H.O. Whitehurst are delivered a hot breakfast and eat just after class begins at 8 a.m. Pictured are the assembled backpacks before delivery to each classroom.
