The results of the marching band results are in, and the local high schools did well, while Groesbeck High School Band earned a 1st Division UIL trophy for their performance. A list of results and comments from area band directors were recently shared.
Amanda Burkeen, 15, of Fallon, won the Oratorial Scholarship Contest held by American Legion Post 288 on Saturday, Nov. 21. Consequently, she will compete at the district level in January.
The annual Taste of Groesbeck will be held on Saturday, December 19th. The Taste of Groesbeck will include businesses all over town with all Groesbeck businesses being invited to participate in the Taste of Groesbeck activities.
