NOVEMBER 21 - The Freestone County Art League will meet at the Church of Christ in Teague, 101 N. 8th Ave. from 9:30 to 12:30. The program will be by Pattie Croeens. A local artist. We will be making Christmas Tree arrangements, each member will need small Christmas lights. Membership due of $20.00 for the year 2020-2021 are due. Anyone that loves art, is invited to attend.
First Baptist Church of Groesbeck hosted a Family Movie Night on Fri. Nov. 13. The community came out for a fun event with food, activities for children, and outdoor viewing of “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.” FBC stated, “Thanks to everyone who came out to our Fall Family Movie Night, and to our awesome volunteers who made it happen!” Contributed photos.
