Communities in School (CIS) at Groesbeck Middle School would like to thank Brookshire’s and HEB Mexia for helping to show teachers appreciation after a semester of hard work by donating to a “ Stock the Fridge” event this month.
The Cynthia Ann Garden Club had its Christmas Party on Thursday, Dec.14, at the Groesbeck Woman’s Club at noon.
The Red Goat Cafe, located at 701 S. Ellis in Groesbeck, welcomed Santa Claus on Monday, Dec. 18, to spread holiday cheer and offer seasonal treats such as hot cocoa and gingerbread man cookies. Children from H.O. Whitehurst Elementary and the community were delighted to have the opportunity to sit with Santa and share their wish lists.
