The Blackshear-Washington & All Groesbeck Exes proudly presented the 2023 Community Service Honoree to Mrs. Gloredia Tipps Phillips on Saturday, Sept. 16, during the Groesbeck homecoming weekend and the Blackshear- Washington reception.
Coming off its first loss of the season, the Groesbeck football team will tackle a similar opponent this week against Crockett for a 7:30 p.m. game.

The homecoming queen will be crowned at halftime on Friday night
Groesbeck’s Ashburn Hanna American Legion Post 288 hosted a suicide prevention seminar on Saturday, Sept. 9. The legion teamed up with local organizations to spread information and awareness to help prevent suicide.
Living Proof Church held a special 9/11 ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 10 in remembrance of the 22nd anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Centers and also honored the first responders in Groesbeck and Limestone County.
