Every Monday – The Beer Joint hosts a Pool Tournament at 4864 TX-14 in Thorton. Players meet at 7:30 p.m., and the game starts at 8 p.m. – $10 buy-in.
The Groesbeck Study Club had its End of the Year Social on Tuesday, May 16 at 6 p.m. at the home of Chris and Julia Morton. After Ginger Fritz gave the invocation, the Social Committee presented us with a wonderful meal. Old Union Eats catered the main course with BBQ Brisket with sauces, onion and pickles, potato salad, pinto beans, corn, green beans, and sliced white bread.
