GHS Theatre to Present Comedy This Weekend
The Groesbeck High School Theater Production class will be presenting the turn of the century comedy, A MAD BREAKFAST on November 4 at 2 pm and 7 pm and again on November 5 at 2 pm in the Groesbeck High School Auditorium. The play was written by Isabel McReynolds Grey and directed by GHS theater director, Michael Moore. Admission is free and the public is invited.
The plot revolves around the practical joke set up by Mr. Jones. With Miss Brown as his willing assistant, he convinces everyone at the boarding house that the-soon-to-be-arriving Mr. Robert T. Long has some interest or ability that aligns with theirs. Coincidentally, Mr. Jones has told Mr. Long that everyone in the boarding house is certifiably insane! Everyone is duped and the hilarity of the situation gets funnier and funnier.
The cast includes Jessica Donaho, Sidney Grusendorf, Laura Gray, Kayley Shifflet, Audrey Brixen, Natlieigh Burns, Steven Nodine, Jose Ovied, Moises Rocha and Jaden Ray. Stage Manager is Keston Price and Assistant Director is Lora Gomez.
Set construction was done by Mr. Moore’s technical theater classes.
Please come out and support the acting goats!
