Groesbeck Chamber banquet returns to Thursday nights, brings full house

Much like a TV show, the Groesbeck Chamber of Commerce Banquet ratings improved this year with the event being on a Thursday night, rather than the normal Saturday it has been planned for the past few years, Tom Hawkins noted just that when taking the stage to start the presentation of the awards during the program. “I told Y’all, and I was right, that moving the banquet to a Thursday would bring in a full house”  Mr. Hawkins proceeded to the presentation of the Educators of the year awards before countless others took the stage to present and receive their awards. A full list of presenters and award winners are listed below:

Educator of the Year, H.O. Whitehurst Elementary: Janeece Bolton; presented by Tom Hawkins
