Inserted into this week’s Journal is this year’s puzzle book, full of great entertainment fun. These puzzle books will be distributed throughout Limestone County. We hope all of our readers enjoy. Be watchful of next week’s special supplement “A Tribute to Our Veterans”.

A huge thanks to all of the businesses/organizations that helped to make the 1st Annual Fright Fest: Carnival in the Park a success! A big thanks to the Chamber of Commerce and Scooter Kennedy for all of the hard work in the planning of the event. Thanks to the Groesbeck Police Department for being present and active and helping to keep our event safe. A huge thanks to Keri Allen and Groesbeck High School for all of the help in candy donations and student volunteers. The amount of candy that was raised and donated from the high school is unfathomable and it goes to prove what truly great youth we have in our community. A huge thanks to Russ Foster for his quick and timely preparation of the awesome Haunted House (which will also be open Tuesday night after Trick-or-Treating • 8-10PM).  Last but not least thank you to all of the students/organizations/businesses that showed up today and made this event successful. This event would not have come together without the effort of such a great community. Thank You!
